2010: From Theory to Practice- Refining US HIV Surveillance Systems through the Use of Social Determinants

In May of 2010, The Ms. Foundation for Women in collaboration with the John M. Lloyd Foundation hosted the ninth annual John M. Lloyd AIDS Project at Stony Point Center. The Ms. Foundation convened representatives from US community-based organizations and local and state AIDS directors to explore the adoption of HIV surveillance systems that incorporate social determinants for more inclusive and effective prevention and treatment services.
